1. Who we are
getsyncai AI ("the Service") is an AI-powered review reply generator built on the DeepSeek large language model. We follow a minimal-data-collection principle. This policy explains how we handle data generated when you use the Service.
2. What data we collect
- Review input: the customer review text you paste into the workbench, the rating, and (optionally) the business name. These are used only for the current generation request, are forwarded to the DeepSeek API, and are not stored long-term on the server.
- Local history: generated replies are saved to your browser's localStorage, capped at 20 entries. They are never uploaded to a server or shared with third parties. You can clear them in the workbench at any time.
- Technical logs: the server may record request time, IP (for rate limiting), and HTTP status for operational purposes. Review text is not included.
- Not collected: we do not require sign-up and we do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or other personally identifying information.
3. How data is used
- Calling the DeepSeek API to generate replies;
- Enforcing rate limits and abuse protection;
- Troubleshooting service issues and improving the product.
We do not use your review content for model training, and we never sell it to third parties.
4. Third-party services
The Service relies on DeepSeek (the API provider) for text generation. Your review input is forwarded through our server to DeepSeek. DeepSeek applies its own privacy policy to data it receives — see the DeepSeek policy.
5. Cookies and local storage
The Service does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We only use browser localStorage to keep your generation history and preferences. This data lives on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
6. Data security
We protect your data with HTTPS transport, server-side API key storage, security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options, and more), and rate limiting. However, no internet transmission can be 100% secure, so please do not enter sensitive personal information.
7. Your rights
You can clear your history in the workbench at any time, or delete all local data by clearing your browser's localStorage. Because we do not store your review text long-term, deletion needs no extra action on your part.
8. Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the home page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the latest policy.
